A: The standard SpaDolly trailer is not equipped with brakes. This trailer can be equipped with electric brakes for
an additional charge. The standard Multiple Spa Delivery Trailer is equipped with electric brakes on the forward axle.
Q: Can spas be offloaded from the SpaDolly trailer onto a deck?
A: The SpaDolly trailer carries the spa approximately 33" off ofthe ground, depending on the weight ofthe spa.
It is possible to slide the spa offof the trailer onto a deck if the height ofthe deck is lower than the SpaDolly or close
enough to the same height of the SpaDolly trailer to allow thb to happen. Of course, access to the deck area with the
loaded SpaDolly trailer is also necessary.
Q: Can the components of the SpaDolly System be purchased seperately?
A: Yes, all components and optional equipment are available for sale individually.
Q: Do I need all of the extras?
A: To receive all ofthe benefits designed into the SpaDolly System, all ofthe components ofthe Complete System
are necessary. The SpaDolly trailer is configured to carry the SpaKart. The spa and SpaKart are tipped off of the trailer
together so the spa is on the cart when they are unloaded. The spa can be easily loaded onto the SpaDolly trailer when it
is on the SpaKart. The trailer and cart are designed to work together, but either component can still be quite useful when
used alone. The SpaJack allows you to lift one edge of the spa so you can place spa handling equipment underneath. The
Optional Accessories will enable you to achieve even more versatility with the SpaDolly System.
Q: How much height is added to the spa when it is on the SpaKart?
A: The SpaKart will add approximately T' to the height ofthe spa, depending on its weight. The ground clearance
of the SpaKart is approximately 4". The widest part of the SpaKart is 34".
Q: Can the Tongue Lever, SpaJack and Winch Accessory be carried on the SpaDolly trailer?
A: We do not provide a means of carrying these accessories on the SpaDolly trailer. The balance point of the
trailer is a critical feature to its performance and as yet we have not determined a way to carry these accessories without
altering that balance point. These accessories are best carried in the towing vehicle.
Q: Sometimes I need to travel a long distance in order to deliver a spa. Is the SpaDolly trailer capable of making a
long trip?
A: Yes. As long as the trailer is properly maintained, it can certainly make the trip. Maintenance procedures are
explained in depth in the Owner's Manual. Keeping the axle hubs properly lubricated is the most common maintenance
issue. The SpaDolly axle is equipped with E-Z Lube hubs which can be lubricated with a grease gun without removing the
hubs from the axle. Over-lubrication can now be an issue because its so easy to add grease. It is also reasonable that the
optional spare tire and carrier bracket would be a smart choice. |
